If you move to a different country or region, change your region setting to keep shopping at Store. NOTE: Most products purchased from Windows Store in one region will not work in another. This includes Xbox Live Gold and Groove Music Pass, apps, games, music, movies, and TV shows.
Your browsing history is the information that Microsoft Edge remembers—including passwords, info you’ve entered into forms, and sites you’ve visited — and stores on a PC as you browse the web.
To view your browsing history, select Hub > History. To delete it, select Clear all history, choose the types of data or files you want to remove from your PC, then select Clear.
Move items from the Reading List app to Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge is the new browser in Windows 10, and it has a built-in reading list where you can save articles to read later. After you upgrade to Windows 10, move items from the Reading List app over to Microsoft Edge, so they’re all in one place.
Change the default search engine in Microsoft Edge
Microsoft recommends Bing for an enhanced search experience in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10. Keeping Bing as your default search engine gives you:
Direct links to Windows 10 apps, taking you straight to your apps faster.
More relevant suggestions from Cortana, your personal digital assistant.
Instant help to help you get the most out of Microsoft Edge and Windows 10.
A metered connection is an Internet connection that has a data limit associated with it. Cellular data connections are set as metered by default. Wi-Fi network connections can be set to metered, but aren’t by default. Some apps and features in Windows will behave differently on a metered connection to help reduce your data usage.
To set a Wi-Fi network connection as metered:
Select Start > Settings > Network & Internet.
Select Wi-Fi > Advanced options > Set as metered connection.
Go to Start > Xbox > My games and select Add a game from your PC.
If your game isn’t in the list of options, it probably isn’t pinned to your Start menu. Go to Start > All apps, right-click the game and select Pin to Start.
Open the Xbox app and select the Refresh button, then select Add a gamefrom your PC. Select the game, then select Add selected games.
